Credit Unions of Alberta, which represents the 13 credit unions across the province, has launched a new marketing campaign that demonstrates how credit unions are like a good neighbour – going above and beyond in supporting Albertans with their financial goals and the communities they operate in.
Using comedic videos, the campaign reminds all of us how bad neighbours, who take advantage of your kindness, truly make you appreciate the good ones who do not.
“Credit unions are known for being approachable, supportive, helpful and focused on people’s best interests – just like a good neighbour,” said Alexandra Frison, Vice-President, Stakeholder Engagement at Alberta Central, the central banking facility and trade association for Alberta credit unions. “Like good neighbours, credit unions are here to help make life easier and are invested in the success of members and Alberta communities.”

About Credit Unions of Alberta:
There are 13 credit unions across Alberta, located in communities large and small, rural and urban. With nearly 200 branches serving more than 622,000 members and more than 3,300 employees, we are your neighbours. Credit unions offer the same variety of products and services as other financial institutions and are owned and operated by members, which means joining a credit union puts money back in your pocket every year in the form of annual returns. In 2022, more than $108 million went back to members through patronage and share dividends.
