There are 16 credit unions that have close to 200 branches, located across rural and urban communities.

In 2019, Alberta credit unions had total earnings of $230 million (net income before tax and patronage bonus) and held more than $2.6 billion in equity. In 2019, $90 million was shared with members through patronage and share dividends. You may be used to one way of dealing with your money, probably for as long as you can remember. But we think that giving you ownership of your money is enough for you to change your ways.
